Overdraft Protection

What is an overdraft?

An overdraft occurs when you don't have enough money in your checking account to cover a transaction, but the transaction is processed anyway. This results in a negative account balance.

How to Avoid Overdrafts

Kish Bank encourages responsible use of your checking account. To avoid mistakenly overdrawing your account, we suggest that you maintain accurate records and keep track of your current balance using by your checkbook register, account statements, OnLine Banking, mobile banking, or telephone banking.

To better understand how checking accounts work, how to manage a checking account, and how to avoid overdraft fees, please use our free online resource, Checking Navigator.
