COVID-19 Related Loan Assistance

The invasion of COVID-19 has threatened all of us in one way or another, and Kish Bank recognizes that in addition to physical health, many are paying close attention to their financial health as well. We want to assure our borrowers, both consumer and commercial, that Kish Bank stands ready and willing to provide loan assistance and modifications to those borrowers who have been financially impacted by the spreading COVID-19 virus. Loan customers whose accounts are current and in good standing, with verifiable hardships resulting from COVID-19, may apply for payment deferrals. Please see the guidance below that relates to specific classifications of borrowers.

Kish Consumer Borrowers

  • Qualifying loans: personal loans, auto and other installment loans, revolving open-end loans, and home equity lines of credit
  • Length of possible payment deferral: up to 90 days
  • Eligibility: individuals and families whose income has been reduced due to a COVID-19 related layoff or because of required family care

Kish Residential Mortgage Borrowers

  • Qualifying loans: residential mortgages including primary, secondary, and investment property mortgages
  • Length of possible payment deferral: up to 180 days, in accordance with guidelines set forth by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, or Kish Bank
  • Eligibility: individuals and families whose income has been reduced due to a COVID-19 related layoff or because of required family care

Kish Commercial Borrowers

  • Qualifying loans: business loans and commercial real estate loans
  • Types of possible relief: payment deferrals or suspension of principal payments
  • Eligibility: businesses that have been negatively impacted in any number of ways, including mandatory business closings, declining revenue from reduced sales or rental income, or slowing payments from accounts receivable
  • Other available options: may include bridge loans or support in applying for special SBA lending programs

Applying for Payment Deferrals

  • Short form applications for payment deferrals may be obtained by contacting your loan officer, your local branch, or Kish Customer Support at 1-800-981-5474.
  • Please have your loan account information available when calling.
  • Loans on hardship payment deferrals will not be assessed late charges or reported as delinquent to credit bureaus so long as the loan is being handled in accordance with the terms of the deferral agreement.

New Loan Requests

  • Applications for new loans can be requested by calling the Kish Bank branch of your choice or 1-800-981-5474.
  • New mortgage application requests will be handled by a Kish Bank Residential Lender in your area. You may arrange a telephone appointment by calling the branch nearest you or 1-800-981-5474. Please bear in mind that there is a significant backlog of mortgage processing and closings due to the impact of COVID-19 on the ancillary service providers that are central to the process.
  • New commercial loan application requests may be submitted by appointment with a Commercial Relationship Manager. Your local Kish branch will direct your call or you may call 1-800-981-5474.

While our branch lobbies are closed to normal traffic to protect the health of our customers and team members, our drive-thrus are available to handle most transactions.
