Kish Named in Top 100

Kish Bancorp, Inc. Named in US Banker’s Top 100

Belleville, PA (June 10, 2011) - Kish Bancorp, Inc. announced today that it was ranked among the top 100 community banks in the country by US Banker magazine. 

“We are proud that US Banker magazine has once again recognized our exceptional financial performance with a top 100 ranking,” said William P. Hayes, Chairman, President and CEO of Kish Bancorp, Inc.  He added, “But we are even more pleased with how we achieved it – by focusing on our local communities and continuing to ensure that every one of our customers can expect more from Kish Bank.”  Kish Bank has been recognized among US Banker’s top community banks for three consecutive years. 

US Banker, a monthly magazine for financial services executives, compiles an annual ranking of the top 200 community banks and thrifts in the nation.  The ranking is drawn from all publicly traded banks and thrifts in the United States with less than $2 billion in assets.  The ranking is based on the institution’s three-year-average return on shareholders’ equity.    

“Our performance, reflected in the ranking, demonstrates our continued commitment to our shareholders and customers,” Hayes said.  “This recognition could not be achieved without the knowledgeable team of professionals at Kish who are dedicated to high-performance, sound banking practices, and solid strategic planning.”

The Power of Pink

Kish Bank is proud to support the WBCA Pink Zone breast cancer initiative by sponsoring the 2012 Pink Zone game between the Penn State Lady Lions and the Minnesota Golden Gophers, Sunday, February 26 at the Bryce Jordan Center. Proceeds from the Pink Zone’s fundraising efforts are donated back to the local hospitals in our region.

You can show your support, too!

• Make a donation  to the Pink Zone at any of our branches.
• Enter the Power of Pink drawing^* to win an autographed team basketball & 4 luxury box tickets to the February 26 Lady Lions Pink Zone game. Entries must be submitted by February 17.
• Join Kish Travel’s Power of Pink bus trip to the February 26 Lady Lions Pink Zone game (game time has not yet been announced). The trip is $25 per person and includes a game ticket, Pink Zone t-shirt, refreshments & amenities on board, and a Pink Zone donation. Call the Lewistown Kish Travel office (717-242-1465) by February 17 to reserve your space. Tickets may be picked up at the Kish Bank Lewistown Financial Center from February 20-24.
