Flood Insurance

Flooding occurs in every state and can occur any time of the year. Even if you live far from the coast or river, floods can be caused by heavy rain, melting ice and snow, clogged storm drains or new, densely built housing developments. For those who live in low flood risk zones, there are preferred risk policies that offer very affordable coverage. If you live in a high risk area, there are standard flood polices with rates based on the flood zone, age and type of home, and the amount of coverage you choose.

Flood Insurance may include:

  • Building coverage that pays for damage to your dwelling
  • Contents coverage (limited in basement)
  • Property protection that pays for sandbagging and other expenses to prevent flood damages
  • Clean-up reimbursement that covers the cost of cleaning your home and removing debris after a flood

Property and casualty insurance services are offered exclusively through Kish Agency, Inc. a subsidiary of Kish Bank, and are not insured by the FDIC, are not deposits or obligations of the bank, and are not underwritten or guaranteed by the bank.
