Robert S. McMinn

Executive Vice President, Financial Services and General Counsel

Robert McMinn joined Kish Bank in 2003 as Executive Vice President of Client Solutions and General Counsel and continues in that role today.

Bob brings an impressive background to the Kish Bank team.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at Juniata College and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review and The Order of the Coif.  Prior to joining Kish Bank, Bob practiced law for 11 years as a partner in the firm of Bierbach, McDowell, McMinn, and Zanic of Huntingdon, Pa.  Prior to his legal career he managed Finance and Administration at Valley Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. which is also located in Huntingdon.  

Under Bob’s leadership, Kish entered into a Strategic Alliance agreement with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company and MML Investors Services, Inc. to provide insurance and investment services for Kish customers.  He believes our clients deserve exceptional service and personal attention with solutions tailored to meet their unique needs.  Bob highly values feedback from our clients and encourages you to share your thoughts with him.

Bob is very active in the community, having served as a board member for many local organizations including the Huntingdon Rotary Club, Huntingdon Area Habitat for Humanity, and The Village at Morrison's Cove, and has chaired the United Way Annual Fundraising Campaign for Huntingdon County.

Bob, his wife Laura, and their two dogs and two cats reside in Huntingdon, where they raised their two, now grown children, Spencer and Tara.

Wade Curry, LUTCF

Vice President, Financial Advisor

Wade Curry has nearly 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in Asset Management, Wealth Accumulation, and Transfer Strategies; Retirement Planning; Life, Disability Income, and Long Term Care Insurance; and 401k and Pension Plans.

Wade attended Dickenson College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Policy Studies.  He has since become a Registered Representative of MML Investors Services, Inc., a Life Underwriters Training Counsel Fellow (LUTCF), and is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).  In addition, he is currently working on his CFP® certification.

Community involvement is very important to Wade.  His many roles in organizations outside of Kish Financial Solutions include serving as a Director on the Boards of the Friends of Lewistown Hospital, Downtown Lewistown, Inc., Mifflin County 2000, and the NAIFA local chapter.  He is also a member of Rotary International.

Wade, his wife, Maxi, and son, Jack, reside in Reedsville, Pa.  Wade enjoys spending time with his family and playing basketball, running, and spending time in the outdoors.

Christopher Sweeny

Financial Advisor/Planner

Chris joined Kish Financial Solutions in 2008, after entering into the financial service field in 2003. Prior to his career in the financial services industry, longtime Lewistown, Pa. resident, Chris, attended the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma and studied Aviation Technology.  After college, he was employed with United Airlines, spending twelve years in the San Francisco, California area and five years in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Outside of work, Chris helps to coach the Lewistown Boys third and fourth grade basketball team and enjoys spending time with his wife, Leslie, and their three children Harrison, Mason, and Addison.  Chris also enjoys golf and good wine.

Andrew J. Horwitz, JD*, CFP

Vice President, Financial Advisor

Andrew joined Kish Financial Solutions in 2009.  He started his career as a practicing attorney in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Most recently, and for the past 10 years, Andrew has worked for The Vanguard Group in Malvern, PA.  While there, Andrew advised high net worth clients in the Personal Financial Planning Department in the areas of investment, accumulation, retirement and estate planning.  In 2000, Andrew earned the Certified Financial Planner™ certification from the CFP® Board.

Andrew is passionate about working directly with individuals and families to grow, protect, preserve and transfer their wealth.  He believes it is critical to understand the client’s concerns from their point of view and offer recommendations and options to address these concerns.  He concentrates his area of practice in investment, accumulation, retirement, protection, and estate planning.

With roots in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Andrew now resides in Centre County.  He attended The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania and The Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware.

Andrew and his spouse, Alexandra, are proud parents of a 2-year old daughter, Katelyn, and the owner of two cats.  When he’s not spending time with his family, Andrew enjoys long-distance cycling, soccer, and photography.  Andrew is also a mentor for students at for The College of Health and Human Development, Health Policy and Administration Program for The Pennsylvania State University.

Jeffery T. Hayes

Financial Advisor

Prior to joining Kish Financial Solutions, Jeff worked with a financial services team in Centre County which managed significant client assets with a focus on building comprehensive financial plans for clients.  Jeff has experience working with the full range of financial tools including investment management, life insurance, disability insurance and long term care coverage.

Jeff is a lifelong resident of central Pennsylvania.  He was born and raised in Lewistown and attended Juniata College in Huntingdon.  Jeff is based in the Kish Bank Financial Center in Huntingdon, where he is focused on providing financial planning and investment and insurance services to clients in the Huntingdon region.

Outside of work, Jeff’s interests include attending local sporting events, traveling, and enjoying outdoor activities, such as fishing.

Kayelene G. Sunderland

Asst Vice President, Financial Services Representative

Kayelene has been a member of the Kish Bank team for 12 years, and has a total of 27 years in the banking industry.  Prior to joining Kish, she worked at Mellon Bank and Russell Bank.  Over the past 10 years, Kayelene has served in the role of Financial Advisor at Kish and currently serves clients in the State College area.

A lifelong resident of Mifflin County, rooted in Reedsville, Kayelene and her husband are proud parents of a son and daughter-in-law and their grandson.  She is a volunteer for Junior Achievement of Central Pennsylvania and enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
