Employee Volunteerism Stories
Several Kish employees volunteer and hold officer positions in YBMC, a local non-profit group focused on bringing a younger perspective to the revitalization and economic growth efforts of Mifflin County and providing a social outlet for lively, civic-minded people. Since the formation of the group in 2004, Kish volunteers have been instrumental in event planning and fundraising efforts with YBMC, allowing the group to make significant contributions over the past five years to causes such as the Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing, the local D.A.R.E. Program, the Tuscarora Regional Community College project, the United Way’s Success by Six program, and Future Business Leaders of America.
