Online Statement Disclosure and Agreement

Online Statements versus Paper Statements

  • If you enroll an account in Online Statements, you will receive both a paper statement and an online statement for the statement period during which you enrolled the account and will receive only online statements for all subsequent statement periods.
  • You may remove your accounts from Online Statements and receive paper statements in the future if you choose.
  • However, you may not receive both online and paper statements at the same time.

Accessing Online Statements

  • We will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided in Consumer Online Banking each statement period when your Online Statements are available for viewing, printing, and saving via Consumer Online Banking.
  • We will also send you a Bank Mail message via Consumer Online Banking when your statements are available.  You will need your password to access Consumer Online Banking.
  • When you have signed into Consumer Online Banking, select "Statements" on the navigation panel on the left side of the screen and follow the instructions.

Joint Accountholders

  • If any of the joint holders of an account enrolls the account in Online Statements, that accountholder will receive Online Statements for the account, and paper statements will no longer be sent for the account.  If the other joint accountholders wish to receive a statement, they must also enroll to receive Online Statements for the account.
  • If a joint accountholder wishes to receive paper statements again, all of the accountholders on the account must select paper statements before the Online Statements will be replaced with paper statements.

Statement Inserts

  • Any legal inserts (policy changes, account notices, privacy information, etc) will be included with your Online Statement or provided in a separate mailing.

Computer Requirements

  • You will need a computer with browser software and Adobe Acrobat Reader to access your Online Statements.
  • You will need a valid email address in Consumer Online Banking to receive notification that your Online Statements are available.
  • You will need a printer if you choose to print your Online Statements.

 

Invalid e-Mail Addresses

  • By agreeing to this disclosure, you are required to maintain a valid e-mail address within Consumer OnLine Banking.
  • Should your email address change from when you initially established Online Statements, you may change the address using the Customer Service link included in Consumer OnLine Banking.

Security

  • Consumer Online Banking uses the latest Internet security technology to provide maximum security for your account information and Online Statements.
  • To prevent unauthorized persons from viewing your account information while your computer is unattended, Consumer Online Banking will time-out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
  • To prevent unauthorized persons from viewing your Online Statements while your computer is unattended, Online Statements will time-out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
  • If you save your statement to your computer, you should ensure that you have adequate security measures to prevent unauthorized access to your statements.

 

Changes/Termination

  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify our Online Statement service, to change the conditions under which we will provide this service, or terminate your service.
  • Prior to any such change or termination, we will provide you with any advance notice required by law via e-mail.

Agreement to Receive Online Statements

  • By accepting the terms of this Online Statement Disclosure and Agreement and enrolling an account in Online Statements within Consumer Online Banking, you agree and consent that we may provide periodic statements for that account to you electronically via the Online Statement capability within Consumer Online Banking.
  • You may withdraw your consent and revoke your agreement to receive periodic statements for an account electronically via Online Statements by selecting paper statements for the account within Consumer Online Banking.
